WORKSHOP OUTLINE:
Electricity - Concepts such as resistance, voltage, power and capacitance, and ability to measure and calculate them.
Coding Syntax - Understanding the building blocks of the
C++ programming language such as functions, arguments, variables and loops.
Electronic Components - Understanding how electronic components such as LEDs, sensors, buttons and motors work, and how to use them in a circuit.
Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) - Functionality of the Arduino development environment, serial communication, libraries and errors.
Frequency and Duty cycle - Understanding the concepts of Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and frequency, and being able to calculate duty cycle.

Coding logic - Ability to program various electronic components, read, analyze and troubleshoot Arduino code.
Arduino boards - Understanding the constitution and capabilities of an Arduino board, and the functions of its different parts.

Zuwena James-Bernard
B.A

Ms. Zuwena discovered her love for Arduino Robotics and Coding through her late father, Brian James, founder of Innovative Systems Limited. What began as exposure to technology in childhood grew into a passion for problem solving, creativity, and teaching. She later earned her Arduino Certification and now enjoys guiding students in C++ coding, circuitry, and soldering. As a Robotics Teacher, her greatest joy is helping young minds explore innovation while building confidence through mistakes and discovery.
